COVID 19 Protocol

During these months of uncertainty, we can never fully know what to expect. Below are our starting guidelines we will be following for the near future. We will reevaluate as the year progresses.

Masks will be required at all times.

All children and staff will need to have their temperature taken every day before coming into class and will sanitize hands when they arrive.

Teachers will maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from children and all children will maintain distance and will not have physical contact with one another.

All activities will take place outdoors. In the event of inclement weather, we will be in touch about plans.

All materials that will be used in classes, will be individually packaged for the children.

If, G‑d forbid, there is a case of Covid 19, we will need to close down the 'in person' track and keep up the virtual track until further notice from our medical advisors. A notification will be sent to parents with the information.

We are looking forward to a SAFE & HEALTHY year so our children can properly benefit from the joy of Judaism that JUDA Afterschool program brings!

At JUDA your child will be learning Hebrew reading and language, Jewish holidays and customs, Jewish history and general knowledge.

Each week, the children will be provided with materials for an experiential activity. We will explore Jewish themes through Art, science, music, baking, and drama. The medium which is used will alternate week by week. For children joining on the virtual track, a package will be delivered to your door with all the materials needed for the 'Art'.

For Children in the 'In person' track, we will have our regular reading groups based on color levels. For children joining on the virtual track, we will have individualized reading sessions on zoom. Both tracks will be taught through our amazing Aleph Champ program which we have successfully used over the past two years. It is a Karate inspired motivational method used by hundreds of schools around the world. You can learn more about it here.

The 'In person' track will include a pizza dinner, but the virtual track will not. As always, Kindergarten is free of charge! (Just pay the pizza dinner cost if signing up for the In person track.)
